Brancion castle
Brancion, situated between Tournus and Cluny, is the most important stronghold in South Burgundy. The castle was built by the Lords of Brancion between the 10th and 13th century and then by the Dukes of Burgundy in the 1th century. From the tower you have an exceptional overview. The covered marketplace and the Saint-Pierre church, 12th century.

Open daily from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 1:15 PM to 6:00 PM
(Closing at 5:00 PM starting October 1).
Last entry 30 minutes before closing time.
Family Activity
Set off as a family on the trail of the Vouivre of Brancion and its lost carbuncle (included in the entrance fee).
Costumes
Costumes available for the whole family to borrow.
Admission Fees
€8 for adults (includes free audioguide) / €4 for children / Free for children under 5.
